Following General Procedure B, 9-bromo-8-methoxythieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one (800 mg, 2.6 mmoL) was reacted with tert-butyl 1-[2-fluoro-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenyl]ethylcarbamate (1.4 g, 3.9 mmol) to afford the desired product (480 mg, 40%) as a brown solid: ESI MS m/z 469 [C25H2FN2O4S+H]+.
