Following General Procedure B, 9-bromo-8-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)thieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one (80 mg, 0.20 mmol) was reacted with tert-butyl 4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)cyclohex-3-enylcarbamate (90 mg, 0.29 mmol) to afford the desired product (140 mg, 23%) as an off-white solid: 1H NMR (500 MHz, CD3OD) δ 8.01-7.98 (m, 2H), 7.35 (d, J=8.9 Hz, 1H), 7.12 (d, J=8.9 Hz, 1H), 5.80 (s, 1H), 4.01-3.91 (m, 2H), 3.63-3.60 (m, 2H), 2.88-2.84 (m, 1H), 2.57-2.53 (m, 1H); ESI MS m/z 299 [C16H14N2O2S+H]+; HPLC >99% (AUC), tR=6.70 min.
