Reaction Steps
Methyl 8-(4-acetamido-phenyl)-1-cyclopropyl-9-methyl-4-oxo-4H-quinolizine-3-carboxylate was prepared according to General Procedure A using methyl 8-chloro-1-cyclopropyl-9-methyl-4-oxo-4H-quinolizine-3-carboxylate (77 mg, 0.26 mmol) and (4-acetamido-phenyl)-boronic acid (56 mg, 0.31 mmol). Purification by flash silica column chromatography (CH2Cl2:MeOH) (1:0 to 94:6) afforded the title compound as a yellow solid (93 mg, 90%). ESI-MS m/z: 391 (M+H)+.
