Reaction Steps
In an analogous manner to that described in Example 1(g), by alkylating tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-benzo[1,3]dioxol-5-yl-3-hydroxy-piperidine-1-carboxylate with 2-bromomethylnaphthalene there was obtained tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-benzo[1,3]dioxol-5-yl-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate as white crystals after crystallization from hexane; m.p.: 128-129° C.
