Reaction Steps
Acylation of tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-[4-(3-hydroxy-propyl)-phenyl]-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate with 2-chloro-benzoyl chloride analogously to the procedure described in Example 22(k) gave tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-[4-[3-(2-chloro-benzoyloxy)-propyl]-phenyl]-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate as a colourless, amorphous solid; MS: 614.6, 616 (M+H)+.
