Reaction Steps
In an analogous manner to that described in Example 22(k), by acylating (3RS,4RS)-4-[4-(3-hydroxy-propoxy)-phenyl]-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate with benzoyl chloride there was obtained tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-[4-(3-benzoyloxy-propoxy)-phenyl]-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate as a colourless oil; Rf : 0.84 (SiO2, hexane:ethyl acetate=1:1).
