In a similar manner to that described in Reference example 25, a reaction was carried out using 2-trimethylsilylethyl (S)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-(4-isopropylphenoxy)propionate (4.80 g), which is the product of Reference example 29(e), t-butyl 2-methanesulfonyloxyethylcarbamate (7.17 g) and potassium carbonate (8.28 g) and the reaction mixture was treated to afford the desired compound (5.94 g) as a colorless oil.
