In a similar manner to that described in Reference example 25, a reaction was carried out using 2-trimethylsilylethyl (R)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-(4-isopropylphenoxy)propionate (221 mg), which is the product of Reference example 30(e), t-butyl 2-methanesulfonyloxyethylcarbamate (330 mg) and potassium carbonate (381 mg) and the reaction mixture was treated to afford the desired compound (264 mg) as a colorless oil.
