In a similar manner to that described in Reference example 2(a), a reaction was carried out using 4-[3-(4-pyridine-2-ylbenzoylamino)propyl]benzylchloride (488 mg), which is the product of Reference example 50(c), sodium hydride (55% suspension in oil, 64 mg) and benzyl (3-phenylpropyl)malonate (540 mg) and the reaction mixture was treated to afford the title compound (0.65 g) as a syrup.
