Reaction Steps

By the procedure of Example 9, Step A, 5-hydrazino-2-(trifluoromethyl)[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidine (Intermediate 42) was acylated with (3R)-3-[(tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino]-4-(2,4,5-trifluorophenyl)butanoic acid (Intermediate 3). Purification by flash chromatography on silica gel (1-5% methanol in dichloromethane) afforded the title compound as a light tan solid, mp 159-161° C. LC-MS 534 (M+1).
