A solution of benzyl [(9S)-11-oxo-9-phenyl-6,10-diazaspiro[4.6]undec-10-yl]acetate from Step B (0.190 g, 0.484 mmol) in methanol (10 mL) was passed through an H-Cube™ continuous flow hydrogenation reactor at 50 Bar of H2 using a Pd/C catalyst at ambient temperature. The solution was concentrated in vacuo to yield the title compound. MS: m/z=303 (M+1).
