4-[({4-[(3-Chloro-2-fluorophenyl)amino]-7-methoxyquinazolin-6-yl}methyl)(methyl)amino]piperidine-4-carboxamide (Example 16) was reacted with paraformaldehyde using an analogous method to that described for the equivalent step in Example 11 to give 4-[({4-[(3-chloro-2-fluorophenyl)amino]-7-methoxyquinazolin-6-yl}methyl)(methyl)amino]-1-methylpiperidine-4-carboxamide; 1H NMR Spectrum: (DMSO d6) 1.80 (m, 2H); 2.03-2.17 (m, 10H); 2.66 (m, 2H); 3.64 (s, 2H); 3.95 (s, 3H); 7.08 (s, 1H); 7.17 (m, 2H); 7.30 (t, 1H); 7.51 (m, 1H); 7.57 (m, 1H); 8.34 (s, 1H); 8.42 (s, 1H); 9.68 (s, 1H). Mass Spectrum: (M+H)+ 487.
