A solution of ethyl 6-(2-chlorophenyl)-7-(4-chlorophenyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazine-3-carboxylate (41 mg, 0.10 mmol) and (4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl) methanamine (29 μL, 0.2 mmol) in methanol (0.5 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 16 h. Analysis by HPLC/MS indicated the staring material had been consumed. The resulting suspension was filtered, the collected solid was washed with hexanes (5 mL×2), dried in air to afford 22 mg (41%) of the title compound as a white solid. HPLC/MS (method A): retention time =3.93 min, (M+H)+=542.2.
