A solution of 1,1-dimethylethyl N-((6-chloro-7-fluoro-4-hydroxy-1,1-dimethyl-2-oxo-naphthalen-3-yl)carbonyl)glycinate (0.255 g, 0.641 mmol) in TFA (5.00 mL, 67.3 mmol) was stirred at 25° C. for 10 minutes. The mixture was concentrated, azeotroped in DCM (2×50 mL), and dried in vacuo to give the title compound (0.220 g). MS m/e=342.4 (M+H)+. Calculated for C15H13ClFNO5 341.05.
