According to the same procedure, 3-(2-hydroxy-phenyl)-acrylic acid 2-ethyl-4-(2,2,3-trimethyl-cyclopent-3-enyl)-but-2-enyl ester was prepared from 3-(2-hydroxy-phenyl)-acrylic acid ethyl ester, 2-ethyl-4(2,2,3-trimethyl cyclopentyl-3-en-1-yl)-but-2-en-1-ol and tetraisopropyl-o-titanate.
