From 4-(3-isopropyl-2-oxo-1-benzimidazolinyl)piperidine and 1,1-dioxido-2-(4-bromobutyl)-5-chloro-1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one (prepared as shown in Example 22) using the procedures described in Example 1 there was obtained a white solid upon formation of the HCl salt (from methanol and diethyl ether), melting point 229-234° C. Analysis calculated for C26H31ClN4O4S.HCl.0.4 H2O: C, 54.33; H, 5.75; N; 9.75; found: C, 54.35; H, 5.60; N, 9.70. The NMR was consistent with the structure.
