To a solution of N-{5-[(6-aminopyridin-3-yl)oxy]-2-fluorophenyl}-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide (860 mg, 2.51 mmol) in DMSO (5 mL) was added ethyl isothiocyanatoformate (428 mg, 3.27 mmol), and the mixture was stirred for 15 hr. The reaction mixture was diluted with water and extracted with ethyl acetate (×3). The organic layer was washed with saturated brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate and filtrated. The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was dried to give the title compound (1.16 g, 98%) as a yellow oil.
