To a solution (500 mL) of a free form (51 mg) of (R)-3-[2-(2-hydroxymethylpyrrolidin-1-yl)ethyl]-5-methyl-2H-isoquinolin-1-one in ethanol was added dropwise 100 mg/mL D-tartaric acid ethanol solution (272 μL) under ice-cooling with stirring and the mixture was left standing for 1 hr. The resulting precipitate was collected by filtration, washed with cold ethanol (2 mL) and dried under reduced pressure at 40° C. for 4 hr to give the title compound (74 mg).
