Procedure

A mixture of (2-chloro-6-methoxy-quinazoline-4-yl)-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-methyl-amine (0.2 g, 0.60 mmol), and 2-hydroxylethylamine (1.5ml) was microwaved at 120° C. for 20 min. The excess of 2-hydroxylamine evaporated under reduced pressure. The product was isolated by preparative TLC (CH2CL2/MeOH=5/3 as eluent) yielded 35 mg (18%). 1H NMR (DMSO): δ 7.2 (d, 2H), 7.1 (d, 2H), 7.05 (d, 1H), 6.9 (d, 2H), 6.2 (s, 1H), 3.75 (s, 3H), 3.5 (t, 2H), 3.4 (t, 2H), 3.41 (s, 3H), 3.2 (s, 3H).
