Reaction Steps
The compound (50 mg, 0.15 mmol) prepared in Example 5 was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (5 ml). Bromoacetic acid ethyl ester (30 mg, 0.18 mmol) and sodium hydride (8 mg, 0.18 mmol) were added thereto, and the mixture was stirred for 3 h at room temperature. After completion of the reaction, 1N hydrochloric acid was added. The mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and filtered. The filtrate was distilled under reduced pressure, and purified by column chromatography to give the title compound (15 mg, Yield 24%) and the acid compound (40 mg, Yield 68%) of Example 171.
