N-Bromosuccinimide (59 mg, 0.33 mmol) was added to a solution of Compound 132 (128 mg, 0.31 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (3 mL) at r.t. The reaction was stirred for 18 h at 30° C. and was then concentrated in vacuo. Purification by prep-HPLC gave 36 mg (24%) of the title compound as a white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 12.28 (br s, 1H), 8.23 (s, 1H), 8.15-8.19 (m, 2H), 7.98 (s, 1H), 7.87 (t, 1H, J=7.6 Hz), 7.72 (d, 1H, J=7.6 Hz), 7.08 (s, 1H), 4.03 (s, 3H), 3.22 (q, 2H, J=7.2 Hz), 2.34 (s, 3H), 1.33 (t, 3H, J=7.2 Hz). MS (ES) [m+H] calc'd for C22H19BrN2O4S, 487, 489; found 487, 489.
