Reaction Steps

A solution of (1S,2R,3S,5R)-3-(Di-Boc-amino)-5-(2,6-dichloro-purin-9-yl)-cyclopentane-1,2-diol (0.550 g, 1.09 mmol) in DCM (4 ml) is treated with TFA (2 ml) and stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The solvent is removed in vacuo and afford the title product which is used in the next step without further purification. MS (ES+) m/e 304 (MH+).
