PROCEDURE

实验过程

30 g of calcium hydroxide was suspended in 300 g of methanol and the obtained suspension was allowed to react while blowing carbon dioxide into the reaction system at 15° C. Next, 11 g of oleic acid and a mixture of 10 g of nonylphenol with 63 g of an alkylbenzene solvent were added thereto and the mixture was allowed to react by slowly elevating the temperature to 150° C. while removing the methanol and the water thus formed. After dehydrating under reduced pressure, overbased calcium oleate/carbonate (Ca=13%, metal ratio=20) was obtained as a pale brown viscous product.
