The title compound is prepared analogously to Example 5a) from (2R,3R)-2,3-epoxy-6,6,6-trifluoro-hexanol; colourless liquid having a boiling point of 80°-81°/26 mbar.; [α]D20 (chloroform, 0.15%)=-10.7°±6.7°.
