To a suspension of the product of Example 1 (500 mg, 1.225 mmol) in 10 ml of methanol was added 10 ml of 2N NaOH and the mixture heated to 60° C. After 18 hours the methanol was removed in vacuo. The reaction mixture was diluted with 150 mL of H2O and extracted with 3×200 mL of CH2Cl2. The combined extracts were dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated to yield by the titled compound (377 mg, 100%) as a pale yellow powder.
