The title compound was prepared according to the general procedure for the synthesis of N-Aryl-benzenesulfonamides previously described using 115 mg of (2-Amino-5-methoxy-phenyl)-phenyl-methanone and 103 mg of 4-Methoxy-benzenesulfonyl chloride. 1H-NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 3.60 (s, 3H), 3.72 (s, 3H), 6.55 (d, 2H, J=8.8 Hz), 6.78 (d, 1H, J=2.8 Hz), 7.07 (dd, 1H, J=8.8 Hz, 2.8 Hz), 7.28-7.37 (m, 4H), 7.42 (d, 2H, J=6.8 Hz), 7.54 (m, 1H), 7.72 (d, 1H, J=8.8 Hz), 9.05 (s, 1H). MS: m/z 398.3 (M++1).
