Reaction Steps

The intermediate from step d) (2.83 g) was dissolved in MeCN (30 mL). The product from step e) (2.11 g) and potassium carbonate (2.25 g) were added and the mixture was heated to 65° C. for 16 h. The mixture was cooled to rt and extracted with diethyl ether (×2), dried (MgSO4) and concentrated under reduced pressure to give an oil. The oil was purified by flash column chromatography on silica using isohexane 3:1 ethyl acetate as eluent to give the sub titled product as a colourless oil (2.29 g).
