Reaction Steps

To a solution of Compound 6b (0.038 g; 0.0828 mmol) and 1,1′-carbonyldiimidazole (0.015 g; 0.091 mmol) in CH3CN (1 mL) was added 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (0.05 mL, 0.33 mmol) and the resulting mixture was stirred at rt for 20 h. The reaction mixture was washed with water, dried over Na2SO4, filtered, and the solvent evaporated in vacuo to yield Compound 6c. MS: m/z 485.3 (M+H)+.
