Procedure

In a manner similar to the method described in example 177, [(4S,5R)-2-(6-tert-butyl-4-ethoxy-pyridin-3-yl)-4,5-bis-(4-chloro-phenyl)-4,5-dimethyl-4,5-dihydro-imidazol-1-yl]-(4-hydroxy-piperidin-1-yl)-methanone (example 101) was reacted with acrylonitrile (Aldrich) to give the title compound. HR-MS (ES, m/z) calculated for C37H44Cl2N5O3 [(M+H)+] 676.2816, observed 676.2815.
