As described for example 88d, 5-methyl-3-pyridin-3-yl-isoxazole-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (7.9 g, 34 mmol), instead of 3-(3-fluoro-phenyl)-5-methyl-isoxazole-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester, was converted, to the title compound (4.3 g, 67%) which was obtained as a light yellow liquid.
