(S)-methyl 4-((4-methoxybenzyl)(isopropyl)amino)-2-(5-(2,4-difluorophenoxy)-1-isobutyl-1H-indazole-6-carboxamido)butanoate (0.035 g, 0.057 mmol) and NaBH4 (0.022 g, 0.57 mmol) were dissolved in THF/MeOH (5 mL, 3:2) and heated to 50° C. for 3 hours. The mixture was cooled to room temperature and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was chromatographed eluting with 5% MeOH in dichloromethane with 1% triethylamine to provide 0.020 g of gel (59% yield).
