With 4-(diethoxymethy)benzaldehyde (957 mg) and 1-(1-{[2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy]methyl}-1H-imidazol-2-yl)methanamine (1.05 g), the same operation as in Example 2 was performed to obtain the title compound (2.05 g) having the following physical properties.
