Reaction Steps

To a solution of 0.12 g of 3-[2-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-3-(4-imidazolyl)propoxy]-5-chloro-1,2-benzoisoxazole in 3 ml of pyridine is added 0.05 g of dimethylcarbamoyl chloride at room temperature, and they are subjected to reaction at 50° C. for two hours. After cooling, water and ethyl acetate are added and shaken, and the organic layer is separated. The separated organic layer is washed with a saturated saline solution and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the solvent is removed by distillation under reduced pressure, to obtain 0.2 g of oily 3-[2-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-3-(1-dimethylcarbamoyl-4-imidazolyl)propoxy]-5-chloro-1,2-benzoisoxazole.
