Reaction Steps
N-[3-[3-(Dimethylamino)-1-oxo-2-propenyl]phenyl]acetamide was alkylated by the procedure of Example 3, using 7.26 g of allyl bromide, giving 13.34 g of the desired compound, mp 91°-94° C.
