Procedure
2.3 mL (24.33 mol) of acetic anhydride are added to a solution, stirred at 15° C., of 1.5 g (9.73 mmol) of 2,3-diamino-5-nitropyridine in 15 mL of acetic acid. After stirring for 15 minutes at room temperature, the mixture is heated at 110° C. for 2 hours and then at 140° C. for 7 hours. The resulting mixture is concentrated under reduced pressure and taken up in 100 mL of water. A precipitate is collected by filtration. After purification by chromatography on a column of silica, 0.4 g of the expected product is obtained.
