Reaction Steps
A solution of N-methylpiperazine (1.0 eq), NMP, triethylamine (3.0 eq) and 5,6-difluoro-2-nitroaniline (1.0 eq) were heated at 90° C. for 1 hour. The reaction was allowed to cool to room temperature and then poured into water and let stand for 1 hour. The resulting solid was collected and dried and utilized without further purification.
