Procedure

To a solution of Compound 110 (0.067 g, 0.12 mmol) in methanol (1.2 mL) was added 3N NaOH (42.33 μL, 0.13 mmol) and the reaction mixture was heated at 60° C. for 13 h. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature, the solvent evaporated under reduced pressure to give Compound 113 as a white solid (0.068 g, 99%); 1H NMR (MeOD): δ 8.21-8.31 (m, 1H), 8.05-8.14 (m, J=8.31 Hz, 2H), 7.68-7.78 (m, J=8.31 Hz, 2H), 7.36-7.40 (m, J=9.54 Hz, 1H), 7.34 (d, J=8.56 Hz, 2H), 7.28 (dd, J=1.71, 9.54 Hz, 1H), 7.12 (d, J=8.07 Hz, 2H), 4.81 (s, 2H), 2.23 (s, 3H); MS m/z (M+H+) 540.
