A mixture of 4-methyl-6-(4-morpholinophenylamino)-5-oxo-4,5-dihydropyrazin-2-yl boronic acid 122b (330 mg, 1 mmol), 2-bromo-4-fluoro-6-(1-oxo-3,4,6,7,8,9-hexahydropyrazino[1,2-a]indol-2(1H)-yl)benzyl acetate 197d (434 mg, 1 mmol), PdCl2(dppf) (82 mg, 0.1 mmol), 2.0M Na2CO3 (1 mL, 2.0 equiv) in DME (10 mL) was heated at 130° C. under microwave irradiation for 0.5 h. The solvent was evaporated in vacuo and the residue was purified on reverse phase Combi-flash to give 127a (200 mg, 45%). LCMS: [M+H]+ 641.
