A mixture of 3-methyl-1-oxo-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-isoquinoline-4-carbonyl chloride (the synthesis is described above in example 1a) (25 mg, 0.08 mmol) and 1,1-diphenylhydrazine hydrochloride (56 mg, 0.25 mmol) in 1,2-dichloroethane (1 ml) was heated under microwave irradiation for 20 min at 140° C. Volatiles were removed in vacuo and the product was purified by preparative LC-MS to give 14 mg of colorless solid. LC-MS (m/z) 446.7 (MH+); tR=1.58.
