Reaction Steps

A solution of compound 12E (1.12 g, 2.5 mmol) and DIEA (1.4 ml, 8 mmol) in DMF (15 ml) was maintained at ambient temperature for 30 minutes. Reaction mixture was diluted with water (150 ml) and extracted with EtOAc (2×150 ml). Organic layer was washed with 5% aq. sodium bicarbonate (100 ml) and brine (100 ml), dried over anh. MgSO4 and evaporated in vacuum to provide target product (758 mg, 90%) as light yellow oil. LC-MS [M+H] 337.2 (C16H24N4O2S+H, requires 337.46).
