Reaction Steps
CF3CO2H (1 mL) was added to a solution of tert-butyl (2-oxo-3-tetrahydro-2H-thiopyran-4-yl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzimidazol-1-yl)acetate from Step C (169 mg, 0.485 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (3 mL). After 3 h, the mixture was concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound. MS: m/z=293 (M+1).
