5-(5-Ethyl-2-methyl-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridin-3-yl)thiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride is reacted with 3-dimethylaminopropylamine as described in Step 5, Example 24 to give the title compound as a solid (64% yield). LC/MS: RT 1.98 min; m/e 384 (M+H); 1H NMR (δ, ppm): 11.84 (1H, br s), 8.06 (1H, t), 7.57 (1H, d), 7.34 (1H, s); 7.17 (1H, d), 2.94 (4H, m), 2.70 (6H), 2.36 (2H, q), 2.32 (3H, s), 1.82 (2H), 1.07 (3H, t).
