5-(5-Ethyl-2-methyl-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridin-3-yl)thiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride is reacted with (6-methylpyrazin-2-yl)methylamine as described in Steps 5 and 6, Example 24 to give the title compound as a white solid (33% yield). LC/MS: RT 2.40 min; m/e 405; 1H NMR (δ, ppm): 11.83 (1H, br), 8.63 (1H, t), 8.42 (2H, d), 7.49 (1H, d), 7.29 (1H, s), 7.09 (1H, d), 4.25 (2H, d), 2.34-2.58 (5H, m), 2.29 (3H, s), 1.10 (3H, t).
