5-(5-Ethyl-2-methyl-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridin-3-yl)thiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride is reacted with 1-(2-aminoethyl)pyrrolidine as described in Steps 5 and 6, Example 24 to give the title compound as a solid (36.7% yield). LC/MS: RT 2.02 min; m/e 396 (M+H); 1H NMR (δ, ppm): 11.8 (1H, br s), 10.6 (1H, s), 8.3 (1H, m), 7.6 (1H, d); 7.35 (1H, s); 7.2 (1H, d), 3.2 (5H, s), 3.0 (2H, m), 2.4 (2H, q), 2.36 (3H, s), 1.9 (4H, m), 1.1 (3H, t).
