Analogously to example 10 59 mg 2,4-Difluoro-α-{[(pyrimidin-2-yl)sulfanyl]methyl}-3-methoxy-β-[(2-methylquinolin-5-yl)amino]-α-(trifluoromethyl)-benzeneethanol in 5 ml dichloromethane are treated with 4.4 ml of a 1 M solution of boron tribromide in dichloromethane at −30° C. The typical work up after 22 hours at room temperature and chromatography on silica gel (acetone in hexane 10-50%) yields 44 mg of the desired product.
