To a solution of 3-[2-(2-methylbenzoimidazol-1-yl)-9-methyl-6-morpholin-4-yl-9H-purin-8-ylmethylene]azetidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (205 mg, 0.40 mmol) in EtOH (10 mL) and AcOH (3 mL) was added 10% Pd/C (40 mg) and the resulting mixture stirred under an atmosphere of H2 for 65 h. The reaction mixture was filtered through Celite®, washing with MeOH, and the filtrate concentrated in vacuo affording the title compound (207 mg, quant.). LCMS (method H): RT 2.92 min [M+H]+ 519.4
