Procedure

2,2-Difluoroethyl n-propyl carbonate was prepared as in [Synthesis of 2,2-Difluoroethyl Methyl Carbonate] of Example IV-1, except that propyl chlorocarbonate (7.4 g, 0.073 mol) was substituted for methyl chlorocarbonate (6.9 g, 0.073 mol).
