As described for example 127, 2-(5-methyl-3-phenyl-isoxazol-4-ylmethoxy)-thiazole-5-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (200 mg, 0.56 mmol) was converted, using rac-2-amino-1-propanol instead of isopropylamine, to the title compound (94 mg, 43%) which was obtained as a colourless gum after purification by chromatography (silica, 0 to 3% methanol in dichloromethane).
