The title compound was prepared following the procedure described for intermediate 1 substituting tert-butyl 2-iodobenzoate with 2-bromo-5-fluropyridine. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3) δ 9.83 (s, 1H), 8.52 (d, J=2.9 Hz, 1H), 7.86 (d, J=8.2 Hz, 2H), 7.67-7.70 (m, 1H), 7.42-7.46 (m, 1H), 7.29 (d, J=8.2 Hz, 2H), 3.0 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 2.82 (t, J=7.3 Hz, 2H).
