Ethyl 2-(4-(4-((4-chlorophenethyl)carbamoyl)phenoxy)-3-bromophenyl)acetate (Example 46 step C; 24 mg, 0.046 mmol) was diluted with THF (1 mL) followed by the addition of bis(tri-1-butylphosphine)palladium (0) (2.4 mg, 0.0046 mmol) and phenylzinc iodide (0.23 ml, 0.12 mmol). After stirring for 2 hours, the reaction was loaded directly onto a silica gel column and eluted with hexanes:ethyl acetate (3:1) to yield Ethyl 2-(6-(4-(4-chlorophenethylcarbamoyl)phenoxy)biphenyl-3-yl)acetate (15 mg, 63% yield) as a clear oil.
